Not great for the price you charge.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The shower was a disaster water was either coming out at high pressure too hot or dribbling out when you try to adjust temperature. Flushing the toilet while the shower was running had an effect on the shower pressure, so something drastically wrong with the plumbing. The TV situation also needs to be improved. No remote control in my room had to request one. The TV was the size of a postage stamp. You a re charging top price so you need to get these things right.

- Staff at hotel are friendly and helpful - Rooms are very nice and comfortable - Breakfasts are very good - The central location in Ashbourne makes many places walkable

The staff were outstanding and so attentive to our large group especially in the bar/restaurant on a very busy Saturday night

Very helpful staff who changed our room to ground floor without us asking when they saw that a member of our party had mobility issues. Great food in the bar and comfortable room.

Usman on reception made us feel very welcome, as did all staff there. Room was clean and food very good.

Only one small issue. We were woken up by the maids at 7.30am approximately in the morning. they were cleaning but i'm not sure if they didn't know we were there.

Very nice breakfast. Powerful shower. Good location with plenty of parking. Comfortable bed.

Breakfast order on 2 occasions not as requested (but corrected promptly) Rooms need a refresh e.g. power sockets beside the bed. Used towels were removed when room was cleaned but on one occasion no new towels were provided, had to visit reception to get some.

The price was competitive, and the staff very friendly... especially the receptio. Lady who checked us out on Sunday.

It was a great location and had lots of parking. The staff were really helpful when we asked for extra towels for the room. The beds were clean and comfortable. As we were travelling from Waterford for my nephews confirmation, I rang the hotel a few days before our stay to see if we could check in a little early and they said the room would be ready from 230pm.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
I booked a triple room for 3 adults-Me, my Dad and my sister. When I rang the hotel a few days before our visit to make sure there were 3 single beds, I was told they don't have rooms with 3 beds so we had a double and a single bed in the room. It was a small room for 3 adults. Very basic. It was clean but not at all well kept-the sink drain had no cover and you could see the build up of limescale down the drain, the drain plug wouldn't keep water in the sink, there was a gap behind the toilet and it looked like the toilet wasn't securely connected to the wall, there were only 2 glasses in the bathroom and we had to ask for more towels as there were only enough towels left for 2 people-as it turns out only one of us had a shower because the shower gel holder in the shower was empty and my sister felt the bathroom wasn't clean enough to shower in because it looked unkempt. Check out was a little early at 11am.
